STRATEGIC STAGING FOR STANDOUT LISTINGS
VACANT HOME Staging in WILMINGTON
Stage It. Photograph It. Sell It.
WHY STAGE A VACANT HOME?
Vacant homes can be surprisingly difficult for buyers to understand. Without furniture, rooms can feel smaller, colder and harder to visualize—especially online, where listing photos often make the first impression.
MAKE AN EMPTY HOUSE FEEL LIKE HOME
Professional vacant home staging helps buyers understand the scale, function and flow of a property while creating a warmer, more memorable first impression.
Strategic home staging can help:
Create stronger real estate listing photos
Help buyers understand room size and furniture placement
Define the purpose of open or unusual spaces
Highlight architectural features and focal points
Make an empty property feel warm and inviting
Help buyers envision themselves living in the home
Help your listing stand out from competing properties

A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO SELLING A VACANT HOME
DESIGNED TO STAND OUT IN THE coastal north carolina real estate market
Selling a home in the Cape Fear region isn't just about putting a property on the market. Buyers are often comparing multiple listings online before deciding which homes are worth seeing in person, making photography and presentation an important part of the selling process.
Mickler & Co. Staging provides vacant home staging in Wilmington, Leland, Hampstead and surrounding coastal communities, including Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Our staging is designed around the individual property—its architecture, location, price point and likely buyer.
We use furniture, artwork and accessories to establish scale, improve flow and draw attention to the features that make the home worth seeing. Whether you're a real estate agent preparing a new listing, an investor selling a renovated property, a builder marketing a spec home or a homeowner selling a vacant house, our goal is the same: create a home that photographs beautifully, shows well and helps buyers see its potential.
BEFORE
AFTER
why mickler & co. for vacant home staging"?
staging is not furnishing. it’s marketing
Your home is likely one of the most valuable assets you'll ever buy or sell. Staging isn't about decorating it—it's about marketing it.
We look at each property through the eyes of a buyer: how the rooms read, where the eye travels, whether the scale makes sense, which features deserve attention and what could distract from them. Then we create an individualized staging plan based on the home's layout, style, price point and target buyer—selecting pieces that help buyers understand the space and see the property at its best, both online and in person.
We don't use a one-size-fits-all furniture package or try to make every property look the same. We stage the home that's actually being sold.
real estate experience
With more than 20 years of real estate investing & design experience in Wilmington, we understand what helps a property sell and how buyers experience a home—both online and in person.
we understand spaces &
selling features
Scale, proportion, sightlines and traffic flow matter. We use furnishings strategically to help buyers understand each room and draw attention to the home's best existing features. We highlight the pros and minimize the flaws.
CUSTOM STAGING, EVERY TIME
We own our staging inventory, allowing us to create a custom plan for each property and select furniture, artwork and accessories with the right scale, style and proportions for that particular home—not simply install the same package from one listing to the next.
